When I first met Dale and his sister, Donna, at their mother’s home in Bend, it was clear that this would be a major undertaking. Their family had traveled extensively over the years, and the home was filled with a vast collection of items that needed to be sorted, sold, or removed.

We organized a massive estate sale over two consecutive weekends, clearing out as much as possible. Even after that, there was still plenty left for donation and disposal. Outside, we trimmed trees, refreshed the landscaping, and gave the yard a much-needed cleanup to boost curb appeal.

Inside, this was one of the more extensive probate home renovations I’ve taken on. We gave the entire home a fresh coat of paint, refinished the kitchen and bathroom countertops, painted the cabinets, and installed brand-new laminate flooring throughout. After a deep clean, the home felt brand new and move-in ready.

By the time we hit the market, the transformation paid off. Our open house was the most popular listing in Bend that weekend, drawing significant interest and competition among buyers.

This experience was incredibly rewarding, not just because of the successful sale, but because of the gratitude Dale and Donna showed throughout the process. Their trust meant the world to me, and I’ll always appreciate the opportunity to help them through such an important transition.

"Jared is very personable, conscious of the grieving family members and very respectful of the estate.
I feel Jared preformed way above and beyond what we were expecting.  Jared is very detail oriented and extremely knowledgeable about estate sales, real estate sales and the probate process.  He was able to bring in top dollar for the estate sale and top dollar for the house.
Detail oriented for the estate sale?  Jared washed, cleaned, organized and researched prices of items for the very large estate sale, while holding items of interest for family members.  Including detailing a car to bring top dollar.  He dedicated two weekends for the estate sale at no additional expense to the estate other than the agreed upon charges.
Jared could have sold the property "as is", but instead chose to make the property more appealing. To save the estate money, Jared performed much of the labor himself.  From pressure washing the house, cleaning gutters, trimming a lot of dead limbs from the trees, washing the windows and removing water stains, removing wall paper, removing the carpet, breaking up the tile floor, scrubbing the tubs/showers to look new, replace the light fixtures, to replacing the outlets and outlet covers. And the list goes on!
Jared also coordinated having the interior of the house painted, installation of flooring, kitchen and bathroom counters refinished. Every time I went over to see Jared, he would drop what he was doing to talk with me.  Sometimes, he was on his hands and knees staining the baseboard, on a ladder cutting dead tree limbs or chiseling the tile floor.  It made our family feel that we were of utmost importance to Jared.
It is obvious Jared enjoys helping people and definitely enjoys his chosen profession. Our family couldn't have sorted through all the belongings, had an estate sale, cleaned and repaired the house and sold the house in a timely manner, without Jared Schuh.  It also relieved the burden from grieving and busy family members.
Regrets? Yes, we don't get to visit with Jared and family! Again, I can't say enough good about Jared Schuh and Oregon Probate Solutions."
